    I had Chord hang out next to a dumpster and random garbage and he was totally cool about it.  Because of that, I can say Chord is a cool cucumber.  Cheesy? Yes but it was totally awesome saying it.

    We shot Pretty Little Liars’ Lindsey Shaw at a beautiful home in Brentwood.  Lindsey was Zooey Magazine’s first cover girl and first project that I ever worked on with Zooey.  It’s wonderful to see the magazine come full circle and I am extremely thankful for giving me the amazing opportunity to express my creative outlet as their director.  Please check out what Lindsey Shaw has been up to in her interview here!

    I SPY.  It’s fun to see how other magazines and/or stylists used pieces that you have pulled before as well.  In this case, it’s the intricate Rodrigo Otazu statement necklace featured in February’s Cosmopolitan magazine.  I used this same necklace for the Holiday issue of Zooey Magazine on Emmy Rossum.

    A month ago, the Zooey Magazine team and I hung out with American Horror Story’s Alexandra Breckenridge (who plays the seductive Young Moira) at her whimsical Los Angeles home.  What I love about this feature is that we get to know our talents’ intimate side.  They welcome us in and we get to see what “Another Day” is like for these stars.

    The even FUNNER part is that I got to rummage through her closet and discover her sense of style.  Alexandra’s closet is FULL of dresses anywhere from vintage to Betsey Johnson, and she professed that it is all that she wears.  Fun fact is that this Connecticut-native contributes her sweet voice to Family Guy which she also exclaimed on set, “I don’t know why Seth MacFarlane likes my voice!”… such a talented and humble girl!
